Some Scriptures on Prayer:
Eph 6:18 -
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end
with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints--
Php 4:6 - Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer
and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
Col 4:2 - Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it
with thanksgiving;
Jas 5:16 - Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray
for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man
avails much.
Mt 21:22 - And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing,
you will receive."
Ac 6:4 - but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and
to the ministry of the word."
1Co 7:5 - Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may
give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that satan
does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
2Co 1:11 - you also helping together in prayer for us, that
thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift granted to us through many.
